What can I say. It's Subway. In Davis.
I come here for the daily deals (now $3.50 for a 6 inch sandwich or $6 for a footlong). For fresh veggies and meat wrapped up in warm toasted bread, it's a great deal for somebody who wants to eat healthier and is on a budget (my quick, healthy, & affordable meal alternatives are the $3.99 Trader Joe's wraps and salads just down the block).
Normally, I add avocados to give my sandwich a little more kick. Sadly, they recently stopped offering fresh sliced avocados. I've tried asking. They have pre-made guacamole now, which isn't bad either. But boy do I miss those fresh sliced avocados. It's the same feeling as craving a fresh apple only to have apple sauce instead.
Out of all the 6-inch Subway sandwiches I've gotten this past year and a half, today's 6-inch was definitely more like 5 inches. It was still delicious, but without that extra inch, I was only 83.33% full. Next time I'll bring a measuring tape to show them (I'm kidding).
Thanks Subway for being less than 10 minutes from where I live. It gives me an excuse to cook less often. -

I know that it's cliche and there are tons of good sandwich places in Davis, but I actually really love coming here. I order online which is really easy, and I just go pick it up on my lunch break. The prices are good, and the sandwich seems like its pretty good quality. Never had any problems.

Only been there a few times during my two years at Davis. Some people might forget there's a subway near the university mall.

Another subway location. This is the one I've frequented the most over the years and found it to be consistently what it needs to be. You'll get your standard sub made the way you want so I have no complaints there. The staff is always different so I can't comment on recent service, but I thought it was decent for the few years I came here. Go for the meatball footlongs, they're the only reason why I still consider subway an option to satisfy sandwich cravings.
